Xiamara releases debut EP ‘The Introduction Of An Emotional Tomboy’ and its irresistible

Our Review

Singer Xiamara Jennings just released her debut EP ‘The Introduction Of An Emotional Tomboy’ and I can’t stop listening to this rnbOur masterpiece. The former ‘Charm’ girl group member came on the music scene in 2016 when she posted her cover to Tory Kelly’s Dear No One. She then auditioned on Instagram for the Atlanta based girl group ‘Charm’ and stuck with them throughout 6 songs before deciding to leave and pursue her own Journey. She released her first official single  and video for ‘Hold On To Me ‘ in February 2018. That debut let fans know that Xiama was the rnb artist we were missing on our playlist.

Then in March of this year she dropped another feel good track to give us a taste of her EP entitled ‘Weakness’. Weakness visuals were also released and showed a new short hared Xiamara singing into a mic in her bathroom at one point and also in her backyard singing with a live band. Interesting enough Xiamara is actually in a band entitled Friendzband, which you can follow here. The debut EP dropped on digital shelves on April 13th.. It is a 7 track project that is filled with an amazing amount of good vibes, good productions and . The project starts of with a familiar track, ‘Hold on To Me‘. It allowed us to fall in love with Xiamara’s original music. Dreaming Of You brings Xiamara to the point where she can’t stop being head over heels of guy. Silly Of Me is a relatable track based on a girl who cares more for a guy then it seems the guy does for her which 95% of girls can attest to. Being in a relationship with a person who is still a work in progress can be a lot at times but sometimes its worth it if you truly love that person as she states in the forth track ‘Workin On Me‘. Forever comes in on a smooth, drum type, feel the breeze beat with her cool vocals to piece all the magic together while explaining why she wants to be forever with this spacial someone. She then ends the record with two familiar tracks, Weakness and a stripped down  version of Forever.

You can stream and purchase the project on iTunes and all other digital platforms.
